It’s no surprise that The Kitchen Depot is family owned and built on family values. During this festive period, we organised charity fundraising. We donated selection boxes and teddy bears for the children spending their holidays at The Glasgow Children’s Hospital. What started as a simple idea to give back quickly turned into a heartwarming team effort. It reminded us of what the season is all about: kindness, community, and compassion.
Making Christmas a Little Brighter
For many children, Christmas means magic, laughter, and treats – but for those spending the holidays in hospital, it can be a difficult time. The Kitchen Depot team wanted to do something small that would make a big difference, and what better way than with a selection box filled with chocolatey cheer?
Thanks to their dedication and the generosity of customers, colleagues, and friends – dozens of selection boxes were collected and donated to The Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity, helping bring smiles to young faces during the festive season.
The Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity
The Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity works tirelessly to ensure young patients and their families receive the best possible care, comfort, and support – especially during challenging times. From funding life-changing equipment and family support services to spreading joy with festive gifts, their work makes an incredible difference.
Even though our Christmas fundraising has been completed, you can still help support their ongoing efforts by making a donation or getting involved. Every contribution, big or small, helps bring hope, comfort, and smiles to children and families in hospital.
Thank You for Your Support
A huge thank you to everyone who contributed – your kindness and generosity helped make Christmas brighter for children and families at The Glasgow Children’s Hospital.
From all of us at The Kitchen Depot, thank you for helping us share the true spirit of Christmas and for supporting such a wonderful cause.
