Our 5 Step Guide to a New Kitchen

24 September 2021

If you’re considering investing in a brand-new kitchen, then follow our easy 5 step guide.

Step 1.

Budget

Before you start thinking about anything else, it’s important to outline a budget. Identifying how much you are willing to spend on your renovation is key as it gives you a scope for what is achievable with your design. Our prices vary across our vast range of kitchens. So, whether you’re looking for a standard model or really pushing the boat out with a showstopper, we have stylish designs suitable for everyone.

Step 2.

Space

Another thing to consider before starting the design process is how much space you have available. The size of your kitchen will not only influence your budget but your design as well. Unfortunately, smaller spaces would unlikely be able accommodate islands, tables, and possibly even integrated breakfast bars. Appliances will also be limited in smaller spaces so its key that you maximise your new kitchen to meet your needs.

Step 3.

Style

Now the fun part. Deciding on the style of your kitchen is something that is unique and special for you. If we can offer any advice, it would be to coordinate the style with the rest of your home for continuity. However, it’s your kitchen ultimately, feel free to select the style that you’ve been dreaming about. We offer a wide range of styles across Contemporary, Modern Classic and Traditional designs.

Additional Requirements

Before visiting one of our many showrooms across the UK for a free design appointment, make note of any additional work that needs to be carried out in your kitchen. Perhaps you would like new flooring to go along with your new kitchen or some areas need some maintenance i.e., plastering. It’s important to keep this information in mind so you can coordinate your renovation with all the companies/fitters you’ll be employing to complete your project.
