We are so proud of our fantastic team who took part in the 2023 Glasgow Kiltwalk and raised £1765 for The British Heart Foundation.
British Heart Foundation
The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It’s only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures.
The British Heart Foundation team have been fantastic throughout our fundraising journey and even met with our team on the day for a chat and a few photos.
Glasgow Kiltwalk 2023
On the 30th May, 12 members of The Kitchen Depot team set off from a slightly wet Clydebank town centre and journeyed west for nearly 15 miles. They travelled through Old Kilpatrick, Bowling, Milton, Dumbarton, Renton, and Alexandria before reaching Balloch to cross the finish line at Loch Lomond shores.
A few blisters and the rain didn’t stop our fantastic team of Kiltwalkers completing the walk and receiving their medals. The most important thing though, was being able to proudly say that they raised £1765 for The British Heart Foundation.
We would to take this opportunity to show our appreciation for everyone who has supported us on this journey. First of all, we would like to recognise the effort of our team members. Well done to Andy, Ashley, Darren, Gordon, Jada, Julie, Kennedy, Kirsty, Mark, Ross, Siún, and Yvonne.
We also need to thank the organisers of The Kiltwalk for running this fantastic event and our lovely friends over at The British Heart Foundation for all their support. Finally, we would like to thank everyone who has donated to help us raise an incredible £1765 for a great cause.
